Dr. Hornick joined the Mentor Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2004. Previously, she worked as a veterinarian at the Garrettsville Animal Hospital. She is a member in good standing of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the OSU Veterinary Alumni Society. She is also a member of the American Pointer Club, the Border Terrier Club of America, the Ohio Hall of Fame Pointer Club, and the Border Terrier Club of Central Ohio. She is an active competitor in American Kennel Club conformation, hunt tests, and Earthdog events with her Pointers and Border Terriers. Dr. Hornick received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2003, after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hiram College in 1996.
